|Music is one of the most powerful tools available for teaching and has been used for centuries to convey ideas, historical events, and to encourage and challenge people. There are some who believe that Christian Music should only be about Praise and Worship - and to them we respectively disagree. Mirror Image presents songs having allegorical messages that highlight life's trials and tribulations. So often people people alone in the situations they face, wondering if any others can relate. It is the band's earnest desire to impart the fact that they are not the only ones to face a situation.
The origins of Mirror Image can be traced all the way back to 1997 when Matt Merchant was first introduced to Roger Morris. The following year, Matt moved to Huntsville and over the next 3 years he and Roger played in various church events such as leading music for Wednesday Night Bible Study. During this time they developed songs and a unique sound and formed Mirror Image in the Summer of 2001. In January 2002, the band recorded a Demo CD at 4th Creation Studio in Conroe, Texas followed by the first of several indie releases starting in 2004. Mirror Image has found modest success in the UK and continues to record new music, although rarely playing live.
Roger Morris is also the Music Team Leader & Shawn Sanderson is the Worship Leader at Covenant Fellowship in Huntsville,Texas. They help launch the church in April 2008.

Praise & Worship
|Worship is not mysticism and rituals performed on Sunday, or burdens to be shoulderd with a heavy heart - but a love for Christ and a fervent desire to yield to His Will.
Literally the "good news" of the salvation available to all through Christ Jesus. Like any good news, we want to share it with others. But the sharing is never in a rigid, cookie cutter format - but one that is every changing and developing.
We're commanded to gather together (Hebrews 10:25-27) and when we do we can methodically carry out praising God (Psalm 150:1-6), lift up prayers (1 Timothy 2:1-5), make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20), teach (Colossians 3:16), encourage (2 Timothy 4:2), and collect resources to help people (2 Corinthians 9).
For our purposes, a formalized assembly most recognizable as the Sunday Service. Yet, there is no prescribed place we must meet - for we can gather in gothic cathedrals, small country churches, someone's home, an open field, or a large amphitheater.
A natural reaction to a variety of emotions and a powerful tool for teaching, conveying ideas, and promoting Christian concepts. There is a rich record of singing in the bible, such as Israel singing after crossing the Read Sea (Exodus 15)
Music is the catalyst that leads to singing, although people are drawn to different styles depending on the occasion, personal taste, background and culture. There is no definable characterists that define Christian music, it is only the theme of the song that identifies it.
Modern/contemporary music played within a formalized Worship Service that is generally choral in nature, chord based, with lyrics based on scripture and intended to promote congregational participation. The acoustic guitar is often a centeral insturment, but certainly not the only one.
Specially staged musical events held for evangelism, worship, and/or entertainment with Christian teachings. Songs are normally more expansive than that found in Praise and Worship, covering such diverse range as dramatic illustrations, life stories, personal testimonies, or socio-political views of a Christian nature.

The Need for Salvation
|The one living and true God. The all-powerful, all-knowing, supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Though only one God exist, He has three distinct but harmonious persons.
The creator who directs and sent forth the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God who came to Earth to save it, both fully man and fully God.
Sent by the Father to convict the world of sin, He dwells in every Christian as a comforter, teacher, and guide.
Old and New Testaments, the inspired and infallible Word of God.
Jesus was born in a miracle birth to a virgin named Mary.
Although tempted, Jesus lived a life without sin.
Jesus died on the cross, a willing sacrifice as atonement for our sins.
Rising three days after His death, Jesus arose and ascended to heaven.
All are sinners living under the sentence of death because of our sin.
All who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior will be regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
Denominations are divisions, yet there is but one Church made up of all believers.
The Ministry of Jesus Christ, though this may take many forms it is still only about Christ alone.
The eternal destination of Christians, assessable only through Christ Jesus.
The destination of those who do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
